First: do not try to move the vehicle
A boot is designed to stop the wheel turning. Driving on one damages the wheel, the brake assembly and sometimes the fender, and that damage is yours, not the property’s.
Take a breath. The decal on your glass has everything you need on it, and the whole process is online.
Scan the decal, or type your plate
The QR code on the decal opens the lookup page at app.unboot.me. Enter your plate and state there to find your vehicle and open your case.
If there is no plate on the vehicle, use the no-plate option. Your phone location finds the record for that spot.
Read the case before you pay
Your case shows the photographs taken at the time, the posted rule you are recorded against, the property, the authorized agency and the amount due.
Check the photographs against where you actually parked. This is the fastest way to spot a genuine mistake.
Paying and confirming your location
Payment is by card, online. Before it completes you are asked to confirm where you are standing on a small map, which is how the operator knows the vehicle is attended.
If your phone cannot get a location, you can still pay. The case simply records the location as unverified.
The release
Payment dispatches an operator automatically and starts a countdown on your screen. Typical release is around seven minutes; the page updates as it changes.
Stay with the vehicle if you can. The operator removes the device and closes the record, and your receipt is emailed with the full paper trail.
If you think it is wrong
Use the dispute link on the case. It goes to the property with the photographs, GPS and timestamps already attached, so someone is checking facts rather than weighing two memories.
Paying does not waive a dispute. If the property finds in your favor, they refund against the same record.
If the vehicle was towed instead
Your case shows the tow partner, the impound yard address, its hours and its fees. Take photo identification with you.
A vehicle cannot be released from the yard while citations at the same property are unpaid, so clear those on the case first.
